Polycom Joins the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) to Help Advance Social, Environmental and Ethical Practices

As Affiliate Member, Polycom will work with partners and member of its supply chain to adhere to EICC sustainability standards SAN JOSE, CA - Nov 15, 2016:  Dedicated to observing the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility, Polycom, Inc. today joins the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), an alliance of leading technology companies that advocate for ethical and sustainable value for workers, the environment and businesses.
The EICC is comprised of more than 110 electronics companies with the mission of ensuring its members, suppliers and stakeholders collaborate to improve working and environmental conditions through leading standards and practices. As an Affiliate Member, Polycom will now align its current operations, as well as those of first-tier suppliers, with standards recommended and governed by the EICC.

As an Affiliate Member, Polycom will gain access to existing resources, assessments and audits conducted by EICC, which will help manage partner practices and supply chain risks more efficiently. Wherever possible, Polycom will seek to adopt the EICC approach and tools in practical ways in the spirit of the industry’s common goals.
