Swissphone Group has successfully completed the sale of selected Imasys activities as part of a strategic carve-out. The buyer, F24 Schweiz AG, is the European market leader in Software-as-a-Service solutions for critical communications.
Imasys is a specialized technology platform offering high-performance SMS gateway solutions and Messaging-as-a-Service (MaaS), particularly for transaction-related two-factor authentication processes. As an independent entity within the Swissphone Group, Imasys had limited operational and customer synergies with Swissphone’s core business, which focuses on authorities and organizations responsible for public safety (BOS).
"With the sale, we are continuing our strategic focus and strengthening our position in established critical communication markets," said Pascal Jaggi, CEO of the Swissphone Group. "The proceeds from this transaction will enable targeted investments in our digital emergency communication platforms as well as the expansion of our network infrastructure and software offerings."
The Swissphone Group intends to use the funds to finance strategic growth initiatives.
Rigeto Unternehmerkapital will continue to advise the Swissphone Group on its strategic realignment and the implementation of growth initiatives in critical communications, as well as the expansion of its software platforms.
