SCANSOURCE COMMUNICATIONS ADDS PLANTRONICS SOFTWARE-AS-A-SERVICE TO SOLUTION OFFERING

GREENVILLE, SC – ScanSource Communications, a leading global provider of communications products and a sales unit of ScanSource, Inc., [NASDAQ: SCSC], now offers Plantronics Software-as-Service (SaaS), Plantronics Manager Pro. This cloud-based software subscription service gives resellers access to easy-to-use tools to help their end-user customers manage their audio communications devices. This new offering allows resellers to leverage the SaaS model to expand their recurring revenue streams while providing complete communications solutions. Plantronics Manager Pro uses a cloud-based architecture with reporting tools to provide new information for a more collaborative UCaaS experience. The subscription software service will allow IT and contact center managers to oversee audio communication devices and gain insights from voice interactions. Plantronics Manager Pro uses analytics to turn a headset into a data aggregation tool – improving customer service at the point of interaction. “As a longtime partner of Plantronics, we are proud to lead and support our customers in this new suite of Plantronics communications solutions,” said Brian Cuppett, vice president of merchandising for ScanSource Communications. “This one-stop solution for audio device management, monitoring and user support will allow our resellers working with C-level and IT decision makers to provide valuable insights into their systems and grow their own recurring revenue.” Plantronics Manager Pro is currently available in the United States.
