Snom releases Service Pack 1: Firmware Version 8.9.3.80

Following several firmware upgrades, we are now releasing our first major service pack:  Firmware Version 8.9.3.80 The Service Pack applies to all Snom desktop phones from the D3XX and D7XX series. It includes extensive improvements to security, stability and user-friendliness as well as numerous new functions. What are the most important features: 1. LDAP picture support: With LDAP, a picture of the caller or called party can be displayed directly on the phone’s display. More information on:  How to: Caller Picture 2.  "LP-Feature" - Long Press option for the function keys The phone’s function keys can now be configured more intuitively thanks to the new "Long Press Feature". 3.  Increased security: Service Pack 1 contains all the important new features and updates necessary for the secure and stable operation of Snom phones. 4. Improved user interface: With the new user interface of Service Pack 1, everyday tasks such as call forwarding or creating a conference call are more intuitive and straightforward. As with previous firmware releases, Service Pack 1 has undergone extensive testing, but these procedures cannot cover all possible scenarios or situations.
