Stan Garnett Included in Law Week Colorado’s 2018 Barrister’s Best

Oct 09, 2018 - Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Stan Garnett, co-chair of the firm’s Government Investigations & White Collar Defense Group, was named to  Law Week Colorado’s 2018 Barrister’s Best issue. Garnett was recognized in Barrister’s Best “Best Criminal Defense-White Collar”  category. Garnett’s practice focuses on complex litigation at the state and federal level, and he has appeared before the United States Supreme Court, the 10th and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeal, the Colorado Appellate Courts and in state and federal trial courts across the United States. Garnett served as district attorney for Colorado’s 20th Judicial District (Boulder County) for nearly 10 years before rejoining the firm, where he had previously been a senior member of Brownstein’s Litigation Department. Elected to three terms as Boulder DA, Garnett also served as president of the Colorado District Attorneys Council in 2017 and served on the board of directors of the National District Attorneys Association. Barrister's Best also recognized Brownstein as People's Choice for "Best Lobbying Firm." This year’s Barrister’s Best coverage includes a list of the top lawyers in the state, as selected by their peers and by  Law Week Colorado’s “Barrister.” The full list of results is available in  Law Week Colorado’s Oct. 8 issue.
