Telesphere Appoints Brent Bourne Chief Operating Officer

Bourne is a veteran senior executive with rich experience in VoIP and software-controlled systems at technology and telecommunications companies. Bourne, of Scottsdale, Ariz., oversees the day-to-day customer operations at Telesphere, including service delivery and customer service. In building a strategic vision for the company, he has implemented a model where measurement drives process improvement and positions the company to hold itself accountable and produce results that “wow” the customer.Most recently, Bourne was at MetaSwitch Networks, where he was responsible for coordinating post-sales architecture, engineering, testing and implementation of critical hardware and software delivery projects for large telecommunications carriers that represented tens of millions of dollars in annual revenue. Previously, Bourne was COO of InfoArmor Inc. and IntelePeer Inc., and in a series of executive leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Level 3 Communications, LLC, including senior vice president for engineering and operations.
