BroadSource, a Cisco partner and global leader in cloud communications innovation, has announced that, together with ConnectEast, operator of Melbourne’s EastLink tollway, they have been named finalists in the 2025 Cisco WebexOne Customer Awards Dynamic Duo category.

The Dynamic Duo award recognises the power of partnership between a Cisco customer and partner in creatively implementing Webex solutions to deliver real business outcomes.

Transforming Mission-Critical Operations

ConnectEast manages EastLink, a 39km tollway that supports hundreds of thousands of motorists daily. Its contact centre is central to operations, from customer enquiries to emergency communications. With ageing technology and rising regulatory demands, EastLink partnered with BroadSource and Cisco to modernise and future-proof its communications environment.

Together, the team delivered:

• Webex Contact Center for cloud-based, omni-channel customer engagement.
• Webex Calling to support resilient, mission-critical communications in the traffic control room.
• SecureCall by BroadSource to streamline PCI DSS compliance, enabling secure call and screen recording.
• AI-powered insights through Cisco AI Assistants and Topics Analytics, opening the door to automation and digital service innovation.

The project has enabled EastLink to:

• Meet stringent government KPIs for call handling.
• Reinstate secure recording for compliance.
• Harness AI to identify automation opportunities.
• Begin laying the foundation for always-on, digital-first customer service.
