Telecom Italia Sparkle selects a GENBAND OTT solution to enhance its cloud-based product offering
Telecom Italia Sparkle has selected GENBAND’s white label OTT solution to enhance its cloud-based product offering. TI Sparkle will sell the Kandy-based PaaS solution as a plug and play offer and leverage it to boost its products, integrating its voice, video and IM services, to its global customer base, which includes mobile operators, carriers and service providers. “We have partnered with Genband as they are a best-of-breed supplier of OTT services for voice and mobile services” said Stefano Olivieri, vice president, line of business voice and mobile of TI Sparkle. “GENBAND’s white label solution enables us to empower our customers with a full-package mobile application that handles voice, video and instant messaging services that, combined with the quality TI Sparkle network services, results in an unbeatable combination of flexible real-time solutions, superior end-user experience and global coverage.” TI Sparkle added that the OTT application will extend its coverage beyond the physical reach of its network and reach a user over any IP network anywhere in the world. It will also allow carriers and MVNOs to launch its own brand of ITT service for telephony and other communications services.
