Company recognized for its Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute HOLMDEL, N.J.,   Sept. 9, 2015  — Vonage announced today that it has been positioned by Gartner®, Inc. in the Visionaries  quadrant of the   2015 Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide[1]. In this Magic Quadrant, Gartner evaluated 20 UC solutions providers based on “Ability to Execute” and “Completeness of Vision” within the market. “We believe Vonage’s first-time placement in the Magic Quadrant as a Visionary is a testament to our commitment to innovate relentlessly and our ability to deliver a complete UCaaS solution for a wide range of businesses,” said   Alan Masarek, Vonage Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Masarek continued, “Vonage provides a reliable and secure platform that delivers our robust set of UCaaS voice and data services in the cloud at Quality of Service (QoS) levels over both private networks and customers’ existing broadband connections. Vonage’s technology also integrates our communications platform into Google apps, Microsoft Lync as a Service and CRM applications such as Salesforce, Zoho and Clio. Combined, these services and technologies uniquely position Vonage to serve the full spectrum of communications needs for business from SMB to enterprise.” On   August 31, 2015, Vonage acquired iCore Networks, a privately-held UCaaS provider, which placed in the 2015 Magic Quadrant in the Niche Players category. Mr. Masarek added, “The recent acquisition of iCore will deepen our penetration of the mid-market and enterprise segments and further strengthen Vonage’s leadership in the UCaaS market.” See the full 2015 Magic Quadrant   here. According to Gartner, “Ability to Execute” is based on the “breadth, quality and overall maturity of applications, processes, tools and procedures that enhance individual, group and enterprise communications. Ultimately, UCaaS providers are judged on their Ability to Execute in capitalizing on their vision.” “Completeness of Vision” is evaluated based on the “ability to convincingly articulate logical statements on current and future market directions, innovations, customer needs and competitive forces and how well these map to Gartner’s overall understanding of the marketplace. Ultimately, UCaaS providers are rated on their understanding of how market forces can be exploited to create opportunities for providers and their clients.” [1]  Gartner “Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide” by Dan O’Connell, Bern Elliot, 3 September 2015.
