Yealink Releases the Version of Yealink Meeting Server SP1

Xiamen, China - August 1, 2017 – Yealink, the global leading unified communication (UC) terminal solution provider, releases the new SP1 version of its Yealink Meeting Server (YMS), a distributed cloud-based video conferencing infrastructure that brings MCU, registrar server, traversal server, directory server, meeting and device management server together. Two major functions are integrated into the new version: SIP Trunk and Permanent Virtual Meeting Room. SIP Trunk Enabled Flexible Collaboration Featuring the SIP trunk, Yealink Meeting Server SP1 allows video conferencing via VoIP to further integrate with PSTN calls. The SIP trunk can be configured as the destination gateway of the call routing rules to place a PSTN call. Dialing a PSTN call and then logging in with YMS conference ID and password, other participants can also join the conference on demand. Permanent Virtual Meeting Room Management The permanent Virtual Meeting Room (VMR), another new feature of Yealink Meeting Server SP1, enables users to dial into it at any time. With the conference ID and password, participants can directly enter the VMR set up by the administrator. Guests can share a fixed conference ID with other participants and the password can either be skipped or customized by the administrator.  Moreover, there is no limit to the number of virtual meeting rooms.
