Unified Communications, Collaboration and VideoCloud Services Leader Opens First Office in France; Appoints Stephane Guez New Territory Sales Manager
Paris, France, and Eatontown, NJ (April 1, 2014) –
Yorktel (
@Yorktelcorp), the worldwide leader in unified communications and collaboration (UCC), cloud, and video managed services, today announced an increased EMEA presence, with the opening of a new Yorktel office in France, the first in the country. Stéphane Guez has been appointed to head the office as the new Territory Sales Manager for France. In his new post, Stéphane is tasked with growing Yorktel’s (Yorktel France SAS) country revenue and building on an already established international presence. Ron Gaboury, Yorktel CEO, notes that, “France represents the second largest videoconferencing market in Europe, behind only the United Kingdom. As such, strengthening our presence in France is key to our being able to capitalize on this market opportunity.” Stéphane brings more than 20 years of industry expertise to his position as Territory Sales Manager. Prior to joining Yorktel, he held positions such as Sales Manager, Manager of Global Alliances, and Business Development Manager for France and EMEA with companies including Cabletron Systems, T-Systems, NTT, Nortel and Alvarion. During his five-year tenure with Nortel as Director of Business Development EMEA for the Partners and Enterprise, Nortel revenue in the large enterprise space grew 100% year-over-year. “We are excited to have Stéphane as the newest member of our team,” said Keith Gyford, Managing Director, EMEA, for Yorktel. “His extensive track record of developing large volume sales in France and throughout Europe, coupled with a proven ability to build global channels and sales teams, is unmatched. We look forward to his contributions in extending the Yorktel brand across EMEA.” Global expansion into target markets remains a top priority for Yorktel. In 2012, the company acquired UK-based First Connections, an award-winning service provider with operations across the UK and Ireland. This transaction enhanced Yorktel’s ability to meet the increasing demand and communications needs of its portfolio of global customers in EMEA. Also, in Q4 of last year, Yorktel reported a 22% increase in revenue as well as 30% growth in new customers worldwide. For 29 years, Yorktel has worked with FTSE 100 and government agencies worldwide, empowering customers to realize the full potential of next-generation unified communications, video conferencing, media services, visual communications and collaboration. Professional services, management and support expertise, combined with proven best practices and cutting-edge technology, are the cornerstones of Yorktel’s award-winning services, and how Yorktel makes complicated simple.
