Zoom named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Unified Communications as a Service for the seventh consecutive year
Zoom announced it has been recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS). This marks Zoom’s seventh consecutive inclusion in the Magic Quadrant for UCaaS, and Zoom is one of only three companies with placements in both the UCaaS and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) Magic Quadrants, which in their opinion is a distinction that showcases the depth and breadth of its unified platform across telephony, meetings, messaging, and contact center.
Zoom believes this recognition reflects the strength of Zoom Workplace as an AI-first collaboration platform and the impact of ZoomMate, the company’s AI teammate that helps transform conversations into completed work. Together, Zoom Workplace and ZoomMate represent the Zoom platform’s evolution from a communications service to a system of action, where meetings, chats, and calls deliver the rich, high-quality conversations that serve as the foundation for automating follow-through, surfacing insights, and executing tasks to generate polished deliverables.
“Real work doesn’t happen in isolated apps, it happens through conversations,” said Shawn Rolin, general manager of Zoom Workplace and AI at Zoom. “With Zoom Workplace, every meeting, call, chat, and customer interaction becomes a source of intelligence that helps people move work forward. Unlike standalone AI tools that require a prompt, ZoomMate transforms those moments into action — capturing decisions, assigning next steps, and connecting work across the business. That’s how AI should work: seamlessly, proactively, and where work already happens.”
Zoom’s conversation-to-completion approach captures and connects conversations across Zoom Meetings, Zoom Phone, Zoom Chat, Zoom My Notes, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack, and more, it develops a unique understanding of each user’s workday — not just what was said, but what was decided and who owns what next. That cross-platform and multi-modality context allows ZoomMate to help users prepare for meetings and calls with relevant background, collaborate more effectively in the moment, and move straight into execution afterward with deliverables grounded in actual decisions, rather than a user’s memory.
Zoom views its continued recognition as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for UCaaS, alongside its inclusion in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for CCaaS, as a reflection of the strength of its unified platform strategy, which delivers communication, collaboration, and AI-first automation within a single experience that spans both employee and customer interactions.
