Infobip Completes Purchase of Peerless Network, Podcast

Move strengthening Infobip’s U.S. and global offer

Today, TR reported that, Infobip, has completed the purchase of global Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) provider Peerless Network, having received federal and state level regulatory approvals. The acquisition enhances Infobip’s presence in the U.S. and enables the firm to expand its voice offering worldwide, creating a global one-stop shop for omnichannel communications. “We will now be able to expand our products and services to over 70 countries throughout the world”, says Rick Knight, EVP of Sales & Marketing for Peerless, noting as well that the announcement means a “ton of new services” for customers. Mijo Soldin, Director Operator Strategy at Infobip tells us that Peerless offered the missing piece of what Infobip was looking to build into, especially as the company looked to build out services and presence in the US market. In this podcast, we learn that that the two companies intend to make the acquisition a win for all parties. “One and One equals Six,” Knight predicts, as Soldin adds that the merger creates a “one stop shop”.
