“The Cisco WebEx platform is a complete platform,” says Rick Apple, COO of Altus. Recently, Altus was named by Cisco as one of the first North American VoIP service providers authorized to sell the new Webex Calling offering for business customers nationwide. As Apple points out, a lot people think “meetings” when they think WebEx. In this podcast we learn how Cisco has made WebEx into a comprehensive communications platform with which Altus can deliver comprehensive solution to clients. Apple discusses a case study where WebEx not only delivered a replacement of previous telecommunications models but also brings together various “disbarment systems”. Brian Jones, President & CEO, of Altus, discusses how a “dynamic customer experience” can now be delivered, which allows individuals to switch between various end points, mobile, soft and desktop while being a part of a larger collaborative environment.
