The venerable Session Border Controller is the workhorse for many organization’s communications needs. According to Alan Percy of TelcoBridges, the SBC is something people want as a Service. “They were coming to us for professional services packages. And then the other situation was we actually had some customers come to us and say, ‘You know, the people that had set this up and were using it, have left my company, and I don't have the resources, and I really would rather have this hosted and managed instead of me trying to relearn all this and hire somebody and have to go through training again and all that on the software’.”
