Q Advisors Continues European Expansion with New Office in Munich and Appoints Kristian MacCarter as Managing Director

November 30, 2020 - Q Advisors, a global telecom, media, and technology (TMT) investment banking boutique, announces today that it will continue to expand its European presence with a new office in Munich, Germany. The expansion arrives as the firm matches expanding local demand for its services with continued growth and activity throughout the European technology and telecom sector. Kristian MacCarter, Managing Director, Q Advisors, will be leading the newest European expansion efforts alongside an established team, including Michael Quinn, Founding Partner, Q Advisors. MacCarter, who combines 10+ years of investment banking experience in both the U.S. and Europe, will pair local experience with an extensive M&A, private placement, and recapitalization track record. “The next step in our expansion process was critically considered after witnessing a steady progression of deal activity in Europe, and we are thrilled to welcome Kristian back to Q Advisors,” states Michael Quinn. “We are prepared to grow globally and meet the demand for this increased activity, with a local team and presence in place. Kristian is the ideal candidate to lead this effort given his international track record and knowledge of local markets in both the U.S. and Europe.” “I’m excited to take on the role as Managing Director and to spearhead the expansion in Munich and Europe,” comments MacCarter. “The office opening is critical in our effort to continue supporting digitalization themes across Europe and in the U.K.” Q Advisors has acted as financial advisor to several clients in Europe, including: ●  Destiny management team in its recapitalization by Apax Partners ●  Swyx in its acquisition by Waterland ●  STARFACE in its recapitalization by Maxburg Capital Partners ●  VozTelecom in its acquisition by Gamma Communications ●  Centile in its acquisition by Swyx and Within Reach Group ●  Motto Communications in its acquisition by Destiny ● ONI in its acquisition by Gigas ●  Dean One in its acquisition by Gamma Communications For more information on Q Advisors, please visit  www.qllc.com or contact Kristian MacCarter at maccarter@qllc.com.
